This photo was taken in the Officers Club of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.  Possibly the late 70`s?? The lady seated in the center of the front row is the Musical Director of the Garda Choir and directly behind her is the Head of the Garda Choir. Others in the photo are Captain Owen McLain, YPD. On his left P.O. Jane Colgan,YPD, behind Jane are Marty Harding and G. W. Colbert. The other Emeralds in the photo are the Chief of the Greenburgh, PD and four members of his Dept. In the background are members of the Garda Choir and West Point Staff. This was a Sunday, following the 12:00 Noon Mass at the USMA Chapel at which this beautiful Choir sang. The night before (Saturday) The Garda Siochana Choir performed a Concert at the Iona College Auditorium on North Ave., New Rochelle,  N.Y. with the Clancy Brothers and the Pipes and Drums of the PESW. The following day G. W. Colbert  was part of the PESW ESCORT taking the Garda Choir to the USMA for their appearance at the 12 Noon Mass at the West Point Chapel.
