Maintaining equipment and supplies for any band is a demanding job, and our Band is no exception.  This page contains information provided by our Quartermaster.   Here you can find all sorts of information regarding Uniforms, Supplies & Suppliers, note and comments as well as links to other useful sites.  We have also set up an email area where our Band members can check off items that they need and send the message directly to the Quartermaster... All that you need is  a computer and access to the Internet.

Purchase Updates

REEDS

We have been using the Warnock Reed which has proven to be the best to go with our current new chanters.

BAND CHANTERS

We recently replaced our old Dunbar chanters with a new more updated chanter made by Charlie Kron. They are the poly Delrin chanters. They have a much better sound, more volume and easily tuned. No more need for tape on the high hand and many reeds can compliment it.

HEADWEAR

We currently wear the Feather Bonnet with the tunic and Brodth. This is considered full dress.

When we are wearing the long sleeve shirt or short sleeve we wear the Balmoral. We are looking at upgrading the Balmoral or replacing It with another type of hat.

BRODTHS(PLAIDS)

Our Brodths have been made by the pipers cove.

We outfitted the entire band in 2004.

Where does your Band get its supplies?

 There are many uniform suppliers that we contact for various supplies. These suppliers change with the wind. One day you are getting a great price on Kilts and then the next day there is another company beating them out. I have tried to deal with Suppliers that I can trust and who can deliver. I am putting together a list of Suppliers that we are currently using and in some cases a link to their web site. If you are looking for new suppliers it might be worth visiting these websites.
